Label Insights
Label Insights is a full-page analytics view that gives you a rich overview of the record labels in your music library. It brings together statistics, charts, and curated album shelves so you can explore your collection from a label perspective. A Premium licence is required to access this feature.
Opening Label Insights
You can open Label Insights in two ways:
- From the menu bar, choose View > Insights > Label Insights.
- From the Labels view, click the light bulb (Insights) button on the toolbar.
If you do not have a Premium licence, a “Premium Required” overlay will appear instead of the view content.
Spotlight Label
At the top of the page, a randomly selected label is displayed in a featured card. The card shows a collage of up to four album art images from that label, along with the label name and a summary line showing the number of albums, distinct artists, and the year the label was first active — for example, “12 albums · 5 artists · Active since 1965”.
- Click the label name to open that label’s detail page.
- Click Shuffle to replace the spotlight with a different randomly chosen label.
KPI Cards
Six summary tiles appear across the page, giving you a quick snapshot of your label collection at a glance.

Rediscover
The Rediscover section presents a shelf of six albums from a single randomly chosen label, making it easy to revisit music you might have overlooked.
- Click the label name in the section header to open that label’s detail page.
- Click an album card to open that album’s detail page.
- Click an artist name on a card to open Artist Details for that artist.
- Each card shows the album art, album name, artist name, and star rating. Albums that have never been played display an Unplayed badge.
- Click Shuffle to load a different random label and refresh the shelf.
Top Labels
The Top Labels bar chart shows the ten labels with the highest album counts in your library. Each row in the chart displays the label name, album count, number of distinct artists, and country of origin. Click any row to navigate directly to that label’s detail page.
Labels by Era
The Labels by Era bar chart groups your labels by the decade in which their albums were released — for example, the 1960s or the 1970s. It shows the ten most-represented decades in chronological order, giving you a sense of which eras dominate your collection. This chart is for reference only and is not clickable.
