I'm new to Helium this may be a stupid question

Sorry, in advance if you feel this is a stupid question.

I've been unable to find any setting when adding music that helium would move the files to your library. I have my music all on one drive, Main folder / Subfolder but I don't know the best way to add the music there. If I add music to helium at present leaves the music where it is and just appears to add it to the database. Thank you, in advance for any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

Helium is designed to work like this. When you add files, the present files and folder structures are preserved.

The physical files will always remain where they are, only references will be added to Helium's library.

If you move files that are added to your library using Helium's tool, Helium will automatically update the meta data in your library.
